A Fresh 48 is one of my absolute favorite sessions. It captures the raw, vulnerable love shared between parents, their brand-new baby, and sometimes even proud siblings meeting their little one for the first time.

These time-sensitive images are taken within the first 48 hours after birth, right in the hospital room where your story begins. Those first hours often feel like a beautiful blur — emotional, exhausting, joyful — and many parents say they barely remember parts of it.

That’s why these sessions are so meaningful. They preserve the tiny details: wrinkled fingers, hospital bracelets, first snuggles, teary smiles, and the overwhelming love in the room.
